Bamileke Stool

A circular wooden stool, coated in white, with a studded lattice design through the sides. Bamileke is named after the native group of Cameroon's grasslands, known for their colourful beadwork and masks and rich cultural traditions. This stool, or side table, is carved from a singular tree trunk, recalling the tribe's connection to nature and the spiritual. Each stool will vary in height and diameter from the designs pictured, as they are all naturally made.
