TOP TIPS FOR A STYLISH SPRING

The cold, freezing Winter months are long behind us and now it’s onwards and upwards with bright sunshine, longer days and a little alfresco dining … ok, ok, reality check – t’s the UK so we ALL know we never have any guarantees but let’s keep positive.

Here are a few of our top tips for bringing a little sunshine inside:

REPLACE YOUR CUSHIONS One of the first things we always advise is to bring in some light, neutral colours on your sofa. Put the dark, velvet winter toned cushions aside and freshen up your sofa with pretty linen, silk pieces in pale grey and duck egg blue tones. Here are some of our favourites:

FRESH FLOWERS Another style tip – obvious as it may sound – fill a vase with white roses, peonies, orchids or even a bunch of casual stocks or blossom. They bring instant life and a fresh feel to a room.

We particularly love to fill our silver bowls full of fresh flowers or little orchid plants (if you haven’t got the time to keep replacing fresh flowers, use top quality faux flowers instead). This gives an instant glamorous look to a coffee table.
